Lee WR #2

This is a cave drawing of a bull. It’s called The Great Black Bull because the pigment is mostly black instead of brown. Stretching at 3.71meters long and 1.93 meters high, it is indeed larger than the other surrounding works. Two graphic techniques were used to create this painting. To draw the lines for the back, tail, and horns, a brush was used. The rest of the bull was filled in by the spray technique. The spray technique involves blowing pigment onto the wall to create that soft outline. This technique was the same one use to create the negative hand prints also seen on the walls.
