WHAT IS A PARAGRAPH?
A paragraph is a group of sentences that fleshes out a single idea.
In order for a paragraph to be effective, it must begin with a topic sentence, have sentences that support the main idea of that paragraph, and maintain a consistent flow. A good paragraph...
•
         * Presents a single idea
•        * Begins with a topic sentence that makes this single idea evident
•        * Contains support in form of sentences that convey this single idea
•        * Is strategically organized to maintain flow
•        * Maintains your essay’s objective
•        * Informs your reader about your paper's overall idea

  1. Creative people consist of having many traits. Some of them tend to be courage, are expressive, are funny , challenge assumptions, and make connections with ideas and projects. With courage comes trying new things and risking failure. over time the risk being taken within showing courage tend to be worth it over time. Being expressive means your willing to share how you feel and what you think when it comes to some things and injects your personality. Being funny or humorous shows that you like to play. This is good because this is one of the ultimate creative acts. When you enjoy yourself your brain tends to relax more which leads you to be able to produce more ideas. Challenging assumptions and asking questions help you discover what may or may not be real. Making connections are new approaches that help you explain things to people and sometimes the best solutions are usually old ideas. Within my daily activity i tend to have a little courage that being i like to try new things or ideas but i don't enjoy failure. I think that being playful also applies a little to me because i like to relax and have fun . Living and having just a little fun relaxes me in so many ways. Having both courage and playful mind helps me get through daily routines by knowing that i don't always have to be so serious and trying new things aren't always as bad as they seem as long as i'm having fun while i'm doing it.

    1. Good points made! It does take courage to try new things--it is an excellent strength and leads to great innovations!
      Watch your grammar. You missed capitalization of I and check your/you're issues. There are also a few run-on sentences. Have someone look your work over before publishing--some times these mistakes can be hard for a writer to see.

    The five traits of creativity include associating, questioning, observing, networking, and experimenting. Associating is the ability to make connections across seemingly unrelated fields. When I was a student at the University of South Alabama, associating my relationship with God and school is what I did to remain persistent in my studies. This is associating because school and religion are two unrelated ideas. Questioning is asking why things function as they do now. I find myself fascinated by the human body and how it works. I always ask why a organ functions the way it does and what can remedy the function. Observing is intently watching the world around in search of new insights, without judgment. One way I use observing is in fashion. I find it very creative when other people dress differently as a way of expressing themselves and it inspires me to express my façade. Networking is being willing to react with others and learn from them, even if their views are differently. I use networking by singing at a church that is not necessarily the same religion as mine. I stand firm on my beliefs but I also acknowledge their views in certain prospects. This allows you to accept people for who they are and what they believe in. Experimenting is exploring new possibilities by trying them out. I am experimenting right now taking this class. Many challenges come with this because I am out of my comfort zone but I expect that would change. When the course is over I intend to build a different outlook on how I view art.

    1. Very creative. It is good you keep an open mind and I am glad that you are excited to broaden your perspectives. You only have a few grammar issues--watch out for improper adverb use (differently.) Also, be sure you know the exact definition of a word or it could sound awkward if not used correctly (facade.) Good work!

  4. According to our book, creativity consists of five parts (experimentation, association, questioning, networking, and observing). In order to achieve creativity through experimentation, I often try new forms of art. For example, I recently started painting on canvases instead of drawing on paper and then coloring it in. The second part of creativity is association. When I am doing a project or creating artwork, I often associate the feeling that I want to go into my art with emotions that I feel in my everyday life. If I want to draw something with the mood of happiness or achievement, I often reflect on how happy running has made me feel. The third part to creativity is questioning. I often have to question what I want to do with a piece of artwork before I actually put it to paper. The forth part to creativity is networking. Though I consider sharing (networking) my art with to be optional, I often times share my art with those who I am close to. The fifth part of creativity is observing. In order to get details in my artwork of what something looks like (an animal, plant, etc.), I observe the details of the thing that I want to draw.
